  The Mile High Marching Festival


is THIS Saturday Oct. 21st, 2017!

The "FLOCK" performs @ 5:15pm

Directions to Prescott High School :

From Interstate I-17 - Once you have made it into Prescott from Interstate I-17 and taken State

Route 69, you will approach the city and the road will become a three lane road, stay in the

middle lane, this will allow you to get onto Sheldon Street. Take Sheldon until it ends, here take

a right, at the second light (Ruth Street) again make a right and the school will be about a ¼

mile on your left. Bus parking will be in the farthest north parking lot.

***Admission to the festival is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for students and senior citizens.
***CASH ONLY!!!

Concessions:

The concession stand will have food, drinks and snacks available. There will also be t-shirts

from other vendors. Please bring money for dinner and snacks.
***No outside food or drink besides bottled water will be allowed in the stadium.
***Concessions are cash only!

Schedule for the day:

CALL TIME @ FHHS – 12:30pm
12:30-1:00pm – LOAD
1:00pm – LEAVE FHHS
3:30pm – arrive Prescott HS
3:30-4:30pm - Unload/get ready
4:30pm – Warm Up – Area B
5:15pm – Fountain Hills HS Performance
5:30-6:00pm – change @ buses/put away instruments
6:00-7:30pm – watch other bands – eat dinner @ concessions
7:45pm – AWARDS
8:15pm – Leave Prescott HS
10:45pm – approx. return time to Fountain Hills HS

before our performance time to assure you will get to see us!

SPECTATOR ENTRANCE:

Spectators may enter on the West side of the stadium.  Parking is in the large South student parking lot off of Crismon.  Tickets are $7 each.  Students w/ID and Senior Citizens are $5.  Children 5 and under are free.  
(FYI - They only accept CASH at the admission gate.)  
Gates open at 4:00pm.

Please bring your instrument, music, flip folder/lyre, valve oil, reeds, pencil, sneakers for night marching, water, and a great attitude!

12:00-1:30pm: Welcome Back – Full Band Rehearsal - Band Room
      *(Guard meets in Band Room then to Small Gym 12:30-4pm)
1:30-2:30pm – Sectionals music practice
2:30-3:30pm - Sectional Goal setting/ skit planning
3:30-3:45pm - Break
3:45- 4:30pm – Full Band Rehearsal - Band Room
4:30-6:30pm - Dinner Break
6:30- Musical warm ups in Band Room
7:00-8:00pm – Marching Warm-Ups/FHHS Practice Field/Big Gym/Sm. Gym
8-10pm - Marching Basics – Falcon Field

Friday, Feb.24th 6:00pm –Midnight

Activities :Scavenger Hunt, Capture the Flag, Ghost in the Graveyard, Board Games, Video Games, Open Mic, and lots of good friends and good FOOD!


Food Items:
Please bring one food item such as a sweets or salty snack (or flat of water if you signed up for it!)

Band Boosters will provide PIZZA (napkins, plates etc.)


Midnight Madness will be a blast!

You must be currently in one of Mz.Truby's music classes to participate! Any parents who would like to come are welcome :)
